Cook claims a paper trail obtained through the
Official Information Act shows Chris Hipkins, Jacinda Ardern, Andrew Little,
and Grant Robertson attended a meeting in August 2021 where the ministers
discussed the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine to 12–15-year-olds at the same
time decisions were being made about what information would be included in
public communications regarding the risk of myocarditis in young people. She
contends the minutes contradict statements by Chris Hipkins that expert health
advice about potential risks associated with a second Covid-19 vaccine dose for
teenagers was not passed on to ministers.
