Both Couper and Green have come out in favour of Maori wards
and co-governance. Couper is being promoted by far-left leaning “influencers”. Quite
possibly, their endorsement is doing Ken Couper more harm than good, as it
highlights his voting record that supports far-left policies in an electorate
that resoundingly rejected the left-leaning parties at the last general
election.
